Mamo - Fireside Wood and Wild Gorse Candle

Níl aon tinteán mar do thinteán féin. There is no hearth like your own hearth.

A turf fire burns low. Coats are draped over chairs. Someone is making tea in the next room.

Along Wicklow's hillsides, gorse blooms bright yellow through spring — and up close, its flowers carry an unexpected sweetness. Warm vanilla, soft coconut, sun on dry grass.

Those golden blooms meet the smell of seasoned wood and a fire that's been burning for hours.

The place where stories get repeated. Where nobody knocks before coming into the kitchen. Where the kettle is already on.

Scent: fireside wood, wild gorse
